PC Tech and Training is On A Mission... We Believe: Computers aren’t that complicated! At least, we believe they shouldn’t be for most people. Yes, a lot of folks decide they’re going to do “big things” with their computer, either at home or in a business setting, and they can sometimes get into deep water. But the majority of computer users – again, both at home and in business – want to do just a few basic things. For most users (that means the person “using” the computer), that means being able to read, write and send e-mail, surf the web easily and safely, and do other basic computer “stuff” like create and save documents, pictures, that sort of thing. It’s not rocket science or brain surgery (or as one of our friends calls it, “rocket surgery”). Yet there IS a lot of – for lack of a better term – misinformation out there. Go to any office superstore, electronics emporium or even you local all-purpose supercenter, and you’ll see what we mean. Just try to get a simple answer about anything computer-related from that high school student working in the computer / electronics department! Some guy speaking megahertz and gigabytes to some poor grandmother who just wants to send her latest vacation pictures to her grand-kids! We have to bite our tongues when we pass those scenes… PC Tech and Training Can Help! If you are located in Southwest Florida (Lee, Collier and Charlotte counties), we provide on-site tech support and training services to home and business clients, and we also provide a variety of local "in-person" training seminars and classes. Feel free to contact us for more information. … and yes, our clients do sometimes think of us as their “Knight in Shining Armor.” Being able to help make computers eaiser and more understandable makes us feel very good... but we still blush when we hear it.
